Quiz Bowl Team Takes Home The Trophy

The Nouvel Catholic Central Quiz Bowl team (Billy Buchalski, Caleb Pinkerton, Joseph Tunney, Colin Kaul, Derek Bauer) took home the Kiwanis Academic Olympics trophy for the year. After defeating Swan Valley HS, 390-210, capping off a 4-1 season and becoming the first NCC team in eight years to win the local championship, the Quiz Bowl team took home the trophy! Senior Joseph Tunney says that “Winning the county championship was a long term goal for our team and I am glad we accomplished it!”
