As the end of the year begins to approach, spring sports start up. Hayden Simerson, second year player for Nouvel’s varsity baseball team tells us what he is looking forward to most this season. Hayden says that he is most excited about baseball season as it means school is coming closer to an end. “I enjoy playing because I get to make more high school memories and be with friends.” In order to prepare for the upcoming season, Hayden likes to get some personal practice in before the team comes together to freshen up his skills. Some of his practicing consists of throwing, hitting in the cages, taking ground balls and some working out. His current favorite song to get hyped to is Megaman by Tay-K. “One of my goals for this season is to get a really good hitting average.” Simerson says.
