McCarthy Qualifies for States

These past two weekends have been huge for our Nouvel bowling teams!

On 2/19 the bowling teams traveled to Candlelite Bowling Center for the annual TVC conference tournament! We
are excited to announce the following bowlers earned Honorable Mentions for All Conference teams:
Colette McConnell, Lauren Zamora, Jacob Johnson and Noah Montini; Earning Second Team All
Conference was Viviana Fabiano; and earning First Team All Conference with the highest average in the TVC
West was Alex McCarthy. The boys team placed 6th in the TVC and Alex placed 7th of 88 boys in
the singles portion.

On Friday February 26 the boys bowling team travelled to Mt Pleasant for team regionals. The boys placed 9th
with high games of the day going to Alex McCarthy (209) and Jacob Johnson (170); Saturday saw them bowling in
the singles portion. 93 boys battled it out pin for pin – our very own Alex McCarthy came away with 2nd in the
region, with a high game of 257 and averaging 218 for 6 six games, qualifying him for states in Battle Creek this upcoming weekend.
