The Varsity Bowling Team is preparing to wrap up a great season.  On Saturday January 12th, the team played at Candlelite bowling alley on the Dixie Hwy in Bridgeport. During the game the guys tried to employ their strategy for the new oil patterns. Overall, it was a successful event over at Candlelite. The girls ended up finished with 9 points and the guys rounded it out with 5 points. The high scores for the event on Saturday go to Max Bolzman and Katie Sullivan. Max recieved a 169 for his high score during the event and Katie ended up with a 143 for her high. The bowling coach, Mrs. Adelman, had a few things to say about how their season is going. On Saturday January 5th, the team played against Frankenmuth and Bridgeport. The guys are attempting to figure out a new strategy for the new oil patterns on the lanes and the girls team ended up finishing with a 25 point gain on Bridgeport. High scores go to Katie Sullivan for the girls and Max Bolzman and Nick Kennedy for the guys. Max finished with a high of 179 and Nick ended up getting a 173 to round out the event. The team hopes to finish strong at the TVC tournament February 15th and Regionals February 22nd.
