Michigan State remained undefeated after beating Michigan 37-33. The game was in Michigan’s hands the whole time as they scored early in the first quarter and were up 23-14 at half time. In the third quarter, Mike Sainristil caught a 19-yard touchdown thrown by Cade McNamara giving them a 30-14 lead. It was not until the 4th quarter that the Spartans came back and ended up winning. Kenneth Walker was a huge factor for the Spartans, as he scored 3 touchdowns in the last half.

Some Wolverine fans argued that the referees were in favor of the Spartans, contributing to their come back and ultimate win.  Either way, it was a good game by both teams. This sets up both teams yet to face Ohio State and establish their final rankings in the Big 10.
