Teamwork Dream Work: Varsity Volleyball

The Varsity Volleyball team continues putting in the work this season. On Wednesday 10/6 the ladies faced off against St. Louis and took the victory by 5 sets. This victory followed a tough series of losses that began Monday 9/27 where they fought hard but fell to Swan Valley and Garber during their tournament. They next faced Millington Wednesday 9/29 but unfortunately lost 3-2. Then had a similar struggle and score against Freeland on Monday 10/4.  Audrey Hirschman, Junior and right side hitter says ”We have been learning a lot about each other over the season, and can still improve our bond, but we are starting to work together a lot more and doing much better when we do. I am looking forward to playoffs and hopefully winning districts this season.’’  The team is currently top 5 in the TVC 10 standings. This Saturday 10/9 the girls are facing off against Caro and on Monday 10/11 they have a tri in Shepard and are hoping to take the victory.
