February 2nd, 2020, Hard Rock Stadium, home of the great Miami Dolphins, hosted the 54th Super Bowl. This year the AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs defeated the NFC’s San Francisco 49ers 31-20. The only other championship the Chiefs won was Super Bowl IV. One and only Patrick Mahomes received the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award as he lead his team to victory while completing 26 of 42 passes for 286 yards, along with 2 interceptions, 2 passing touchdowns, and 1 rushing. The final 6 minutes and 13 seconds is when the Chiefs offense started to roll. Passing touchdowns to the great Travis Kelce and Damien Williams gave them the lead just before the 2 minute warning. A late rushing touchdown and interception from Kendall Fuller sealed the win and ended the Chief’s 50 year championship drought.
