Baseball Keeps a Steady Pace

Our Nouvel Boys Baseball team has been very consistent throughout the season so far. They sit on a 7-7 record and are hoping to improve that record heading into Districts. Last season, the panthers lost in the first round. The boys hope to improve that this season with hard work, determination and teamwork. Captain Tate Hausbeck had some words to say about the team, “We have a good opportunity to make a run in playoffs, when we play to the best of our ability its hard to stop us when were on.” As you can see, the guys are very confident in their ability and are trusting the process this season. Coming up, the boys have a tournament this weekend in the tournament hosted by Nouvel. Last season, our guys won the tournament with eight teams competing against them. Starting Saturday, May 12th, they start off the first game with a very good Bullock Creek team. A rematch from earlier in the season where they lost 7-5 and the second game 6-5. The guys look to bounce back this week and are hungry for not only a win against them, but another tournament win, as well.
