Volleyball: Game to Remember

Things are looking up for the girls Varsity Volleyball squad. “We’ve been coming together more as a team, and that shows in our record,” says senior Nicole Buckingham. On Saturday the 25th , the team took second place in the gold bracket at Pinconning’s tournament. Falling short against Bay City Western, they showed a lot of fight throughout the day. They also took down in city rival MLS, winning three games of five. Tonight, Nouvel will be hosting their “Game to Remember,” raising money for victims of various cancers. JV starts at 5:30pm and varsity starts at 6pm. Students can enter a raffle at lunch for great prizes to help support charity. There will also be a bake sale during both JV and Varsity matches. This year, Nouvel will be hosting districts, meaning a huge advantage for our Lady Panthers and the student body’s support will be vital come November.
