The Nouvel Catholic Central Wrestling team is now in the Tri-Valley Conference West Division, combined with the Chargers of Valley Lutheran. “It is a bit different playing with kids on our team that don’t go to our school, but it has been fun and i am glad we have a team, and hope to improve from last year.” Kyle Lemanek says. Joe Sanchez and Kyle Lemanek have been developing good friendships with their teammates at Valley Lutheran. The wrestling team recently had an invite that was held at Caro on the 27th of January, and they also had a meet on January 31 against St. Charles. They then competed on February 3rd, where wrestling team headed to Alma for a TVC Conference Meet. Finally this week the wrestling team had team districts on February 7th, that were held at Mt. Morris High School, as well as individual districts held Saturday, February 10th at Hill-McCloy High School.
