The football team continued their Nouvel Strong season with an undefeated record of 9-0. The boys last road game of the season was a far one with Nouvel heeading all the way down to New Buffalo to hand them a huge 49-12 loss. Finally, Nouvel came home for senior night and made the crowd very proud with a commanding 35-0 win against Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart Irish.

In the first week of playoffs, they faced the Irish from Mount Pleasant again. The final score was 29-7 with some great plays coming from Tate Hauseback and Justin Kuligowski, who had a huge run in the fourth quarter. “It was nice to play against a familiar team, but we will have to be even more prepared than last week if we want to harbor Beach,” says Senior line backer Alex Wrobel.

Nouvel is faces Harbor Beach in the district championship on their home field this Friday. The theme for the game is a black out so make sure you come out and support the Panthers!
