This Friday, two Nouvel teams  will be helping to raise awareness and honoring those who have battled breast cancer. At 4:30, Varsity Soccer will play Traverse City Christian at home decked out in their pink jerseys and socks. Later in the evening, the Football team will be playing Traverse City St. Francis for the fourth annual ‘Game To Remember.’ The game will be at 7 o’clock @ Boyd Field and it will be a black/pink out. This game is held to remember the loved ones who have passed away or are suffering from Breast Cancer. Those who submitted names and donations will have their loved ones honored with decals on the players helmets, and the Varsity players will also be wearing pink elements in their uniforms to remember and celebrate those impacted by breast cancer. There will also be a special performance during half time by the Varsity Pompon team including girls from grades kindergarten to sixth grade. During the game, there will  be a moment of silence and prayer for the women who have passed away.  Donations  are being made to the Seton Cancer Institute at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital to help local families to suspend the costs of the fight against cancer. Make sure you come out and support your Nouvel community and all of their loved ones! The Volleyball team will be hosting their “Power of Pink” event, Oct. 24th.
