Track Regionals

Nouvels boys and girls track did an excellent job at Regionals last week. The Regional track meet was hosted at Breckenridge high school. Nouvel boys as a team finished in third place behind Beal City and Evert, with Evert winning the Regional Championship. The ladies finished 6th overall as a team. Individual State qualifiers and medal winners include: Colin Hendricks (1st, pole vault), Robi Stuart (1st, shot put), Tyler Sprague (1st, 100m), Sergio Molinar (1st, 400m), Matt Bartels (1st 3200m, 2nd 1600m) Brianna Greene (1st 100m and 1st 200m), Madison Sherdian, Elizabeth Card, Maria Gross, Brianna Greene (1st place, 4x200m relay team), Charley Hengesbach (1st, shot put). Colin Hendricks also set a new school record by vaulting 12’7″.

The next meet is today, Tuesday, 5/30/17. This is the County Meet and will be at Heritage H.S. 5:30 p.m.
