The nouvel track team competed April 28th, at the Vassar Invitational. The team was content with their performance, but are reaching for higher goals. Robi Stuart won his individual event, tossing a PR in shot put with 54′ 5″‘. I spoke with Jimmy Benkert and he gave a fair description of their performance stating “We performed pretty well, while all the throwers set new personal bests. However, we expect to better next week.” The team has the Night Tracks meet coming up this Friday at Sanford Meridian. The Night Tracks meet is a very cool and different meet with the majority of it taking place at night. Come out and support your Nouvel track team!
