Powderpuff is an annual flag football game between the girls of the school. It is played in two 20 minute halves on Boyd field. This years Powderpuff teams, as always, were the Seniors and Freshmen as one team and the Juniors and Sophomores as the other team. The game had a slow start, until Mckenzie Domine ’17 athletically intercepted Karly Skocelas’ ’18 pass and ran it back to the end zone for a Senior-Freshman touchdown. Emily Felton ’17 successfully kicked the field goal and made the score 7-0. Most of the game was fought on defense with multiple nail biting defensive stops for both teams. Then, in the second half Felton cleared a 35 yard field goal to put 3 points on the board and make the score 10-0. The Junior and Sophomore team was unable to score a touchdown or clear a field goal the entire game because of the Senior and Freshmen team’s brutal defense. The game ended with less then favorable result for the Junior and Sophomore class because the Senior and Freshman came out on top with a final score of 10-0. It was a interesting game, good job ladies!!
