On February 29th the girls played their first playoff game against their rivals of Valley Lutheran. Previously in the season when they played Valley we had a crushing victory with a score of 66-39. This game was a different story. The girls pulled out a close three point victory, 49-46. Laurel Jacqmain led the team with 13 points and Junior Anna Buko adding 11. The girls were struggling with the amount of players they had going into their next game against Reese Rockets due to injuries throughout the year. The girls had a lead going into half time and that lead continued into the 4th quarter. Having a 14 point lead with four minutes left in the game, Reese started to heat up. The girls ended up losing by three points, 61-58 with Reese moving on in the tournament. One thing is for sure, the girls played their hearts out leaving everything out on the floor. Congratulations on a great season ladies!!
