1. The Year Without a Santa Claus
In this adventure filled film Santa discovers the world’s loss of faith in the Christmas spirit, thus, the discouraged Mr. Claus decides to take a year off from Christmas. Luckily, Mrs. Claus and her elf sidekicks set out to change Santa’s mind.  Its charm and clever plot lands this classic film the number one spot on the list.
2. Elf
This family comedy follows the life of a man raised by elves who ultimately travels to New York City to find the true identity of his father.  Will Ferrell does an exceptional job of creating the unassuming character of Buddy the elf that adds to this must see Christmas movie
3. A Christmas Story
This classic Christmas movie explores a young boy’s desperate need of a Red Ryder B.B. gun, along with numerous other witty scenes of a family’s chaotic Christmas.  The comical family struggles are relatable to nearly everyone around the holidays, giving it the number three rank.
4. Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer
A young reindeer, born with an uncommon red nose experiences the struggles of being different. This universally known story follows the adventures of Rudolph and all of his misfit friends to prove their equality.  Its delightful story is extremely uplifting around the holidays.
5. Home Alone
In this family classic, a young mischievous boy is forgotten by his family and left home alone for the Christmas holiday and must protect his home from thieves.  The action packed storyline keeps all viewers intrigued, which is a nice change of pace compared to other Christmas movies.
