Starting this Friday the Math and Science Departments are starting STEM Friday! STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering, and Mathematics.During lunch on Fridays the math and science teachers will be having competitions for building things for fun.  This Friday they are doing a STEM “mini catapult” competition where you get to build a catapult during lunch and then launch different projectiles. Besides having fun launching things in lunch, you can also win prizes! The great thing about this is that you do not even have to sign up! All you have to do is go to the table where the math and science teachers are set up and they will give students all the supplies they need to complete the task.  The math and science departments hope to see everyone enjoy the STEM Fridays and have some fun while eating lunch.
