Nouvel’s National Honor Society’s first blood drive of the year was held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 7:15am-1:30pm. For every person who donated, Michigan Blood made a generous donation of ten dollars, even if the full amount of blood was not met. Last year we did a great job and raised close to 50 pints. This years blood drive turned out to be just as well. Close to sixty people donated and the NHS committee would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who participated. This year we ended up raising close to 40 pints of blood and almost 600 dollars for NHS to use. NHS has been planning to buy a new American flag for the front of the school and a light to shine on it at night. If anyone has ideas of what to do with the rest of the money please talk to Mr. Bartels or Philip Rangitsch. Once again thank you to everyone who donated blood.
