April Fools Day is one of the most light-hearted days in the year. It is a day that you are not only allowed to cause shenanigans, but you are applauded for doing so. The holidays’ origin is uncertain. Some people believe it is to celebrate spring fever and others assume it is adopted from the calendar, either way it is all in good fun! In order to get your prank on, I decided to list a few quick and easy jokes that are sure to bring out some laughter…even if it is just from you!

1.) The classic air horn behind the door trick- This prank is really simple because all you need is an air horn, tape, and a wall behind a door. Tape the airhorn on the wall facing where the door would hit when open. WALAH! A flawless trick that will scare whoever opens the door.

2.) The toothpaste-in-the-Oreos prank- This one is sure to have your friends spitting out their food. You need white toothpaste, a butter knife, and oreos. Open each oreo so that it is two sides, then scrape off the white filling. Replace the cream with toothpaste. Nothing will beat seeing your friends get excited, only to get a huge bite of minty chocolate.

3.) Shopping window trolling- If you happen to be going to the mall this is the trick for you. Go into a store, and pose behind the window. When a person stops to look at the new clothing on the mannequins, jump out at them!

4.) Left with no toilet paper- Everyone knows that most people do not look before they go to the bathroom. Take off the toilet paper and just leave the roll behind. Be sure to hide the extra rolls for best possible results.

5.) Paint the soap trick- If you paint your soap bar with (clear) fingernail polish so it won’t lather. This is a funny way to get your parents in the morning when trying to shower before work.

6.) Cover their car- Cover it in post-it notes because that is always funny to everyone else. You could also cover the car in wet cotton balls over night so that they may freeze. At school you can surround their car with your friends’ cars.

7.) Change your friends iphone settings to Spanish- Most people do not remember Spanish, and even if they do it could take them awhile to figure out how to change it back.
