Staff Lenten Promises

During Lent most Catholics make a Lenten promise to prepare for the coming of Jesus. These promises are to improve our relationship with God by giving up something that takes away from our our commitment or by adding something that helps us carry out a spiritual mission. Remind yourself to make meaningful promises that will have an impact. Giving up their weekly ice cream and donating the money to a charity that helps feed hungry children is a good Lent promise. Giving up Saturday morning shows to help the elderly neighbor next door work in the yard is too.

Mrs. Wheatley- Trying to be a better person and not drinking pop.

Mr. Rocha- No eating after seven P.M. and trying to pray more.

Mrs. Adleman- Giving up being negative.

Mr. Marshall- Reading out of the black book everyday.

Ms. Zelley- Giving up drinking tea and trying to do extra morning and night prayers.

Mrs. Jacqmain- Trying to be more intentional with facebook aka only posting about matters of faith and thinking                                    before eating. Also attending the prayers on Tuesday mornings.
