NCC Hockey was very busy over our extra long break. The FNV Griffins had victories against
Swan Valley/Hemlock 3-2, Lakeville/Goodrich 4-0, and Gaylord 7-0, while falling to the Bay City Wolves 2-5
and Lapeer East 3-6. Multiple NCC goals came from Captain Ryan Collins, Robi Stuart posted two, while Jon
Albosta, Zach Komorowski, Ricky Koester, and Allan Frank each added to the board as well. I had the chance to talk with senior Ryan Collins and asked him how he thought the season was going and he replied, “I am very happy with how we are playing and very proud of my team. We have had some losses but ultimately we are doing very well and I think we will be well prepared for post season”. FNV travels tomorrow to Lapeer to take another shot at Lapeer East. Good Luck Griffins!

The Panthers came back from three-point deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter to pull out the win. The Panthers rallied together after making adjustments in the second half which led to their win. The final score was 62-61. Coach Jacobs said the crowd was also a huge factor throughout the game for both sides. The Panthers also recently beat Freeland 40-24.
