The Race Begins

The co-ed track team at Nouvel Catholic Central High School is a large and growing organization. The participants have been preparing for the season since the beginning of March and are working diligently to excel at their meets. The organization has partnered with Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary School in recent years, introducing the sport to the younger generation. This outreach will catch more students’ attention early on, helping the organization grow.

To start the season, the participants began practicing at Nouvel High School’s track, which prepared them for their first meet with various schools hosted by Ithaca on April 9, 2025. The members of the track team worked very hard to prepare for their first meet, and it paid off! The next event that the track team participated in was volunteering for the Junior High’s first track meet on April 14, 2025. During this event, the track members helped ensure that every aspect of the day was organized and well-coordinated. As the season continues, make sure to cheer on and support both Nouvel Catholic Central High School and Junior High track teams as they move forward.

Nouvel Catholic Central High School’s track team had its second meet of the season on April 15, 2025. This event was hosted by Hemlock High School and featured multiple other opponents. During this meeting, the team members ensured they stayed focused and driven throughout, which motivated them to succeed. Although there have been very few meets so far this season, the track team’s work has shown off! The next track meet of the season is coming up soon, on April 23, 2025. Make sure you cheer, support, and wish each Nouvel Panther good luck for the upcoming meet.
