The Science Olympiad team comprises of 14 students and is led by the science teacher, Ms. Wagner. The Science Olympiad team competes in a wide variety of different events hoping to bring back some wins. The events include building and testing what you built and others are test based so you take tests on the topics you have studied. 

The Science Olympiad team recently went to the first invitational of their 2023 season. The team competed on Saturday, January 28, in Haslett, Michigan. They competed amongst 58 different teams. Brady Vance and his partner John Budd placed in the top 10 for their event. The team is looking forward to their next tournament and continuing to work at their events. Talking to Mrs. Wagner she says she is excited about how this season is going and excited about what is to come as the prepare for Regionals are on March 11, in Frankenmuth. The team will continue to meet every Saturday morning to connect with their partners and make sure they are all on the same page. 

One of the teams many goals this season is to bring back many gold medals heading into regionals in March, They also hope to qualify for States which takes place in May at Michigan State University. Good Luck Science Olympiad!
