Elizabeth Garner is a sophomore who has been in the band since 5th grade. She plays the mellophone and french horn. When asked about how marching season went, she said “It was fun because Lily Koester and Ashley McDonald were really good drum majors, and I liked some of the shapes we created on the field when we marched.” Elizabeth said that her favorite memory from band in high school so far was the end of marching season last year. Mr. Bender got wrapped up in caution tape, string lights, and masking tape and started singing “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey. Let’s wish our band good luck for the upcoming concert season!!
