Boys Tennis keeps the season sweep with TVC win!

The boy’s tennis team capped off their conference play with a Tri-Valley win! Our Nouvel seniors played in their last regular season match against Midland High, marking the first time in Coach Symons’s 21 years of coaching Nouvel tennis he beat Midland High. Wins came from #1 singles, Christan Beyers, #3 singles, Brady Vance, #4 singles, Noach Lucas, and  #2 doubles, Cooper Swackhamer and Andy Wagner, also finished strong with a runner-up title.

The seniors on the tennis team include Christian Beyers, Noah Lucas, Shawn Mcdonald, and Andy Wagner. Senior Christian Beyers said, “As a team, we are really looking forward to this Friday. We all have pretty good seeds in our individual flights, and we hope to maintain our momentum from last Friday’s victory at the TVC final!!” The team will compete this Friday at Midland Tennis Center to defend their Regional title! The match play begins at 9:00 am.

UPDATE:

NOUVEL TENNIS HEADS TO STATE FINALS: Nouvel victory in the regional finals earned them a trip to the Division 4 State Finals. The matches will be held Oct. 14-15 at Kalamazoo College and Western Michigan. Congratulations to Coach Symons and the entire Panther team!
