Cross Country Update

With Nouvel finishing strong at their last three meets, the cross country team has been doing very well. At the Al Kayner meet that took place at Delta College (9/24), Nouvel placed 6th as a team. Sophomore Rodney Iamurri led the team, finishing 15th overall out of 54 runners. At that meet, senior Thomas Kolleth had a season best time. Seniors Colin Kaul and Jayden Pasqual, and sophomore Zeke Boyd all had personal best times. At the next meet, the TVC 10 Jam #2 at Immerman Park (9/27), the top performances were from sophomores Rodney Iamurri (10th overall), Sean O’Grady (22nd overall), and Sydney Leslie (26th overall). Junior Elise Long had a season best time. At the most recent meet, the Birch Run Invitational at Taymouth Township Park (10/4), Rodney and Sean took home medals and had personal best times. Sydney Leslie also took home a medal, and Sydney and Hallie Beck had personal best times. Come out and support the Nouvel Varsity Cross Country team at their next meet, TVC #3, on Tuesday (10/11) at St. Louis!
