First Bowling Match of the Season

The Panthers saw their first action on the hardwood with their first bowling match of the year. The girls’ match was held in Ithica and the team was led by sophomores Lauren Zamora and Viviana Fabiano who scored 123 and 120 respectively. The boys’ team had their first match in Standish. Jacob Johnson had a high of 197 on the day while Alex McCarthy led the boys’ team averaging 217 over the course of four games.

With the 2021 bowling season starting up, many of the players are excited for what the new season will bring.   The coach for the team, Mrs. Adelman, has been coach since the bowling team began here at NCC.  Said Sophomore Lauren Zamora “I’m excited for it and with new girls joining the team, I’m confident that there will be many players that will add new skill to our team, since many new people are joining the team,  I’m sure all of the additions of new skill will pay off in the long run.”
