Soccer Seeks District Title

The boys soccer team soundly defeated Hemlock 2-0 in the first game of districts yesterday. Seniors Parker Thiel and Caleb Pinkerton scored the Panthers two goals with assists from Cam Kaul and Marco Olascuaga. Goalie Josh Krueger also had a great game with a number of unbelievable saves. The game was played at the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex due to field conditions, but action will be back at NCC for the next district game, Monday at 5:00PM.

The Nouvel boys soccer team had a good run and were putting in all their effort into winning districts. They won in quarterfinals against Hemlock, 2-0. This was the first post season victory in eight years. Sadly, they lost in semifinals to Midland Calvary Baptist  5-0.
