Nouvel Wrestling Starts With Win Over St. Charles Followed by Meet at Pinconning

The Nouvel Wrestling team defeated both St. Charles and Breckenridge in their first meet on December 5th.  The team started the night by defeating the Breckenridge Huskies 30-18 and then later defeated the St. Charles Bulldogs 42-18. Nouvel wrestling had multiple double winners which included our own Joe Sanchez along with Evan Wilkins, Kris Nisidis, Jeremy Britton, and Chris Plamondan. Nouvel then attended the Pinconning invitational where they placed 12th out of 14th while only sending four wrestlers. Placers were Jeremy Britten 3rd(4-1) and Chris Plamondan 4th(3-2). The next meet will be the Grayling invitational which will take place on December 15th.   You can still come out for wrestling, they practice 430 – 630 at Grace Baptist on Mackinaw Road.
