They did think that his supporters who seem to never falter in President Trump’s actions no matter how controversial they are. However, to the surprise of most media outlets and analysts, the approval rating of most Americans following the SOTU of the Address was at 75% according to CBSnews.com.

His speech was actually seen as very refreshing by the whole country with the usual listing of the his successes throughout the year with a large emphasis on his tax reform that passed late last year. His talked about his new job creations and wage increases, as well as sharing emotional tales of bravery and courage that you would fee awful for not cheering about. One in particular was when Trumped pointed out a member of the Audience who was a defector from North Korea and shared his story. Trumps speech lasted until just before 10:30 pm making it a long SOTU, being 9 minutes shy of Bill Clinton’s longest speech. Some results of the Speech were seen quickly as CNN showed that 12 states reported above 50% approval for Trump following his address.
