Bowling Update: Caro Invite

The bowling team had a successful showing at an invite in Caro this past Saturday. The leader for the girls’ team was Christina ‘bowling is fun’ Buko. For the boys, the leader was Noah ‘Kingpin’ Himmelein with an outstanding score of 245, followed by a game of 180 and a 195. The Saturday before, January 28th Nouvel bowling’s tournament was at Candelite Bowling Center. The four man boys team, did well. Noah ‘Kingpin’ Himmelein led the team in score, while Nick Mcdonald backed him up also having a high scoring game. They did not enter a girls team at this tournament.  The Saturday before, the bowling team had a tournament in Lapeer. The girls team scored 11 points, with Maci Solek and Christina Buko leading with 3 points each, Christina lead the girl’s team and the day with a high score of 149. The boys team had 15 1/2 points, with the leading score being Jacob ‘Strike Out’ Looby’s 188 game. Noah ‘Kingpin’ Himmelein had a great score of 175. On their performance at this tournament Noah Himmelein said, “The North Branch Invite did not work out in our favor, however everyone gave it there all. The team and myself are looking forward to the tournament.” The team competes again in Bay City, this Saturday, February 11th for their last tournament of the season.
