With the end of the season in sight, the matches are more important than ever. Over the past weekend the team went over to Durand for a quad meet. Their opponents were Durand, Ithica, and Leslie. Nouvel played very well that day taking home second place overall. At the end of the day though, seniors Kara Kendal at 4 singles and Meghan Matekel at 2 singles both took home gold. The rest of the team members each finished in second place in their draws.

More recently, the team competed against Essexville Garber this past Tuesday. At the meet the girls were able to pull off a very strong 6-2 win overall. Nouvel was able to make a full sweep of the four singles matches played which really helped propel the team to a win. The team will have 2 more matches this season before the regionals tournament next Friday in Midland. The girls will play against Fenton tonight at the White Pine courts and they will also play against  Heritage on Monday at the Heritage courts. Both matches will start at 4:00.
