Track
Boys and girls track have had two meets so far this season, starting off at Freeland High School followed by a home meet. Although it is still early in the season, the hard work being put in at practice is evident in the performance at the meets. Competing along with 11 other teams in their first meet, the boys took home a total of 8 medals. Congratulations to junior Robi Stuart on being number one in the region for shot-put as well as senior Connor Mooney and junior Jason Russell on being numbers one and two in the region for the 100m dash. The girls track team has also been working very hard and have made significant progress this between their first and second meets. In their most recent meet hosted here at Nouvel, junior Lauren Nowosatka took first place in both long jump and pole-vault. Good job to both teams so far and good luck in the remainder of the season!
