Teams to Watch

Kentucky- The Wildcats are 31-0, and are carrying the most momentum into the tournament for obvious reasons. With the Harrison twins leading the way for them this March, they are definitely the favorite to win it all.

Wisconsin- The champions of the Big Ten, led by 7’0″ center Frank Kaminski, are another dangerous team in the tournament. They have shooters all over the floor that Kaminski finds if he isn’t getting to the rim, which can cause for a nightmare for opposing teams.

Notre Dame- The Fighting Irish have been winning some tight games as of late, and are looking to do big things in the tournament. With a record of 27-5 and ranking 2nd in the nation in field goal percentage, Notre Dame could be a team that peaks at the important part of the season, March.

Most Overrated Team

Gonzaga Bulldogs. Although they are 30-2, they do not have a very tough schedule. The few games that they did loose were to Arizona and BYU. Look for this team to get upset early in the tournament, being either a1 or 2 seed.

The Underdog

Davidson. The Davidson Wildcats are at the top of the Atlantic 10 conference. They have a record of 23-6, and are carrying lots of momentum heading into the tournament. This team is very fundamentally sound, ranking 3rd in the nation in assists with 17 per game and 5th in the nation for points per game with 80.
