Hockey Begins District Play

For the past month, the FNV Griffins have been keeping their season going and hope to keep it going as play offs start for them on Wednesday, March 5, 2015. The Griffins played the Tri-Valley Titans of Swan Valley and Hemlock High Schools twice, losing 2-5 on Valentine’s Day and 1-10 on Saturday, February 21, 2015. The Griffins faced the Bay Area Thunder on Wednesday, Februrary 18, 2015, but suffered a 1-7 loss. Playing the Lapeer Lightning on Friday, February 20, 2015, the Griffins tied 4-4, sophomore Robi Stuart with a goal and senior Zach Komorowski with an assist. On Monday, February 23, 2015, the Griffins fell short to the Bay City Wolves, losing 0-10. District play-offs began Monday, March 2, 2015; however, the Griffins begin play on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 and will face Big Rapids High School in Big Rapids. As their regular season comes to a close, make sure to cheer on your Griffins!
