On Friday, February 6, Nouvel Elementary held the first annual Panther Fest. It was a great turn out and was a great way to once again unite the school. It was meant to combine St. Stephen’s Winter Fest and St. Thomas Aquinas’ Mission Fair. All of the games began at 6 o’clock and went until about 9:00pm. There was a silent auction where people were allowed to be entered into if they bought a ticket to have their name put in the drawings to win. The most popular game there is the cake walk. All of the proceeds went to home and school which goes back into the school for the kids. It was a huge success and raised over $19,000! It was a great way to bring the two schools’ traditions together, and hopefully it will be a huge hit again next year!
