Exams are right around the corner, and it can be a stressful time trying to study for all of your classes. Have no fear, we’re bringing you useful tips to help make your studying easier and help you on exams.
- Get plenty of sleep the night before. Be well rested so that you are alert during the exam and can focus. Also, don’t have caffeine before you go to bed so that you are able to get an adequate amount of sleep.
- Study in a quiet area. Keep anything that can distract you far away. Phones are a distraction most of the time and will disrupt your studying. Be sure to study with plenty of light. It is proven that you will remember more in well lit room.
- Take regular breaks. There no point in becoming stressed and overwhelmed. By taking short breaks, you can come back more focused and ready to study.
- Review tests and quizzes. Chances are the exam will be similar to previous tests and quizzes you have taken this semester. Make sure you understand the material and get used to the format.
- Eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water. Make sure you don’t skip breakfast, and make sure it will hold you over until a break. Remember, carry a water bottle with you since being hydrated is essential for the brain.
