An Ode to Spring
Wherefore art thou, O vernal equinox?
I thirst to be quenched by your cool sprinkle.
My long lost lover, many are the nights that I dream of your return.
Many are the morns, which I long for your warm embrace…on my face.
But lo! I am met with the bitter slap of cold air upon my visage.
I am aware, that you may care of my affair with the warm summer air.
But I assure you, by everything covered in dew, that you are my true baby boo.
When I see all this snow, I cannot Let It Go!
After all this cabin fever, I’ve contemplated becoming a beaver
Dam.
It’s cold.
I’m so done.
Whilst thou ever return?
