The annual March for Life is a pro-life rally protesting abortion, held in Washington, D.C. This year the march marked the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Thousands attended this life rally, including the hundreds from the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw that went with Bishop Cistone. Nouvel’s very own sophomore class went this year from January 21st to the 24th! They had mass with Bishop Cistone and left for their journey on the 21st. Twelve long hours later they finally arrived at the 4H Center for dinner. The next morning they got up bright and early to have mass at the Patriot Center with hundreds of other people who came for the march. Directly following this the march begins at the National Mall up Constitution Avenue to the U.S Supreme Court Building. Despite the fiercely cold weather many came to support life. Upon returning to the 4H Center the group had Jesse Manibusan as a guest speaker (or should I say singer)!

“This trip was extremely beneficial.”- Toni Tornberg

“I am thinking about why I’m going; to save lives. I’m not there to shop, I’m not there to sight see, I am there to make a difference and to stand up for the unborn and for life. I am there to be a witness to all those over 56 million aborted children. I am there to show that life is precious and fragile. I am there to show the world that life is worth it. Please say a prayer for an increasing respect for life.”- Anna Potter
