Tasteful Treats for Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the shelves are being stocked with Thanksgiving themed foods. Usually it is the turkey, potatoes, or cranberries people are buying. Over the years foods have gotten very creative and unusual. Lay’s Turkey flavored potato chip and their Harvest Pumpkin Chips live up to their name, tasting just like their flavor. The turkey flavored chips are said to be spot on, even being able to taste the gravy. With this bag, you will have the main course of Thanksgiving right in front of you. Everyone knows Pop Tarts has created all sorts of flavors. Their holiday pop tart is the Pumpkin Pie having pumpkin pie flavored filling with real nutmeg and cinnamon giving it the extra hint of Thanksgiving. Found in the Harry Potter’s Jelly Beans Bag are Mashed Potatoes and Gravy flavored jelly beans.  These Jelly Beans are just two of the unusual flavors found in the bag and can be eaten together to give you a quick taste of Thanksgiving. To top all of these, Jones Soda came out with their Thanksgiving Dinner Soda in 2004. Flavors included Turkey and Gravy, Mashed Potato and Butter, Cranberry, and Green Bean Casserole. Not surprising, this holiday pack is now on Jones Soda’s retired products list. These products are definitely beyond the traditional dinner, but have captured the essence of the food on the Thanksgiving table.
