This year’s Frankenmuth Snow Fest which took place January 23rd through January 28th was a cold one. The temperatures hit record lows but that didn’t stop the Nouvel students participating from sculpting the best sculpture they could. Our artful participants this year were Harry Schaeffer, Eliza Skelcey, Halie Champney, and Coral Keene. Schaeffer felt the team ho worked together well and accomplished a successful sculpture of an octopus pulling down a ship. However he wondered if there may have been a little bias with some of the judging. Keene agreed, “we didn’t really have problems working together. We knew what needed to be done, discussed it and just did it”.
