NCC Panther Print Bracket Contest Update

Going into the final weekend of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, this year is shaping up to be the closest bracket contest we’ve had in years! Senior Matthew Garcia is leading the pack with 141 points headed into Final Four weekend.  Senior Sam Bartels and Junior Christian Beyers are right behind him with 138 points each. Sophomore Reece Kenny has earned 136 points, and Junior Ashley McDonald rounds out the top 5 with a score of 128 points. There are a variety of brackets outside the top 5 poised to shake things up in the final weekend, including Junior Max Novak with 127 points. If you see any of these students in school be sure to congratulate them on their stellar brackets as they continue to vie for the $25, $15, and $10 gift card prizes.

The Final Four is located in New Orleans this year where the Villanova Wildcats will take on the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday April 2nd at 6:09 P.M. and the Duke Blue Devils will go up against their arch rival the North Carolina Tar Heels afterwards at 8:49 P.M. The winners will play in the national championship on Monday April 4th. I know I’ll be glued to my TV watching a national champion and bracket contest winner be crowned!
