Halloween is about having fun and getting scared. The best way to do this is to go to a haunted house. Here are five of the best haunted house in mid-Michigan.

Edson Incident Ship of Nightmares (Bay-City)- This haunted house takes place on the USS Edson, a Vietnam-era Navy destroyer. You experience a military encounter that has gone wrong as you climb through all five decks of the ship.

Terror on 27 (Ashley)- Here, fictional construction workers mysteriously died while at work years ago. They return back to the site every October to haunt the people there. There are three parts to this haunted house: the tunnel of delusion, mine shafts, and a maze that is very difficult to navigate.

Erebus (Pontiac)- This is a half-mile walk through a four-story building. It’s special effects, costumes, and characters have made it not only one of the best haunted houses in Michigan, but also earned it the USA Reader’s Choice for best haunted attraction in the country in 2019.

Exit 13 (Mount Morris)- Terror awaits you at this haunted house which has been scaring people for ten years. It is packed full of  wall-to-wall horrors that change every year, so there is always new fears you have to face.

Rotten Manner (Holly)-  A highly immersive attraction that includes more than just a haunted house. You can go through the haunted house, take a haunted hayride through the forest, and play carnival-themed games with your family.
