What’s New with Pro-Life??

The Pro Life club has been on fire with new activities this year. Recently, on Monday, September 27, the Pro Life club attended two major events. First up, at 2 pm, they took a field trip to Valley Lutheran High School, with the purpose of  listening to guest speaker, Victoria Robinson. Robinson is a national speaker, author, and former host of the radio show, “Real Talk with Victoria.” She is also the founder of “ReAssemble”, which is an organization that offers after abortion education and recovery.

That evening, she also spoke at a dinner  at the Horizon’s Center.  The doors opened at 5:30, with dinner immediately following.  After the dinner was finished, speaker Victoria Robinson was up to the podium. The story she told was about her real life experience, it was the timeline and the emotions she went through when having an abortion. She started with her background life, which led to how she got her abortion. She also told how she never thought she was going to be forgiven and how she regretted it ever day of her life. She said it was something she never wished upon anyone ever. The speech sparked many emotions and was a very inspirational and touching story. Senior Amaya Allen ’22 was asked how her experience with the event was and this is what she said, “I won a gift basket with some candy, popcorn, and gift cards. I think the experience with the event was very eye opening, and informative. It was also  different from the speech she did at Valley Lutheran, which I liked.”
