The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting cooler, sunrises are setting later… it’s finally fall season!!! With the cooler weather and Halloween coming up soon, there are many new activities you can do now that it’s spooky season. A favorite of many is visiting orchards and pumpkin patches with family or friends. I recently visited Leaman’s and there were cheap pumpkins you could buy, hay rides to ride, apple cider to drink, baby goats you can see, and so much more. You can buy an admission ticket for $6 to be able to do all the activities or just walk and look around for free and not be able to do the activities. Another fun activity to do this fall is pumpkin carving and having contests with friends to see who can carve the best pumpkin. After carving, you could use it as a Halloween decoration to put outside your home.  Watching horror movies is another thing to do and even gets you in the spirit of Halloween. Some movie suggestions are: The Shining, It, The Conjuring, The Nun, and Annabelle. An activity that you can also do is make Halloween themed cookies and other treats. If you’re looking for a simple recipe for Halloween cookies here is a link to one: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/halloween-party-cutout-cookies/. Start off this fall with one of these activities and have a fang-tastic Halloween 😉
