Girls Basketball District Champs

The girls basketball team are district champions! They defeated SASA  65-35 to clench the title, then moved on to take down Mio with a resounding 74-26 win in the first round of Regionals. The girls will now play for a Regional championship Thursday, March 12 against a solid Ubly team, in order to move into the State semifinal. The team was lead by Sophomore Sterling Solek scoring 15 points, with Juniors Catherine Buko and Madison Looby both adding 13 a piece. The Panthers have outscored all of their opponents by at least 30 points during their play off run, and they look to continue the trend. Thursday’s game will be hosted by Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart.
