Nouvel and Valley Lutheran combine to create wrestling team

Nouvel and Valley Lutheran have combined teams to create one wrestling team. The team will be coached by former Nouvel coach Mark Reder  and will be led by senior captain Joe Sanchez, who is the only Nouvel wrestler.  When asked about being the only Nouvel wrestler Joe Sanchez said “It was awkward at first but everyone is welcoming and were hoping for big things as a team and individuals.”  Valley Lutheran has around thirteen kids too create a team of 14. Practices are at 3:30 on Monday’s and 4:30 for the rest of the week,  all practices will be held at Grace Baptist Church,  the address is  4619 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. The first meet will be December 5th at Breckenridge followed by a tournament on the 8th at Pinconning. Contact senior Joe Sanchez for any further information.
