The girls tennis team finished strong this season and placed 4th at Regionals Friday, May 18 at the Midland Tennis Center. All four singles players recorded a win during the tournament and two of the doubles teams also recorded wins. Allyson Sova defeated Essexville Garber in two sets and Grace Dobis got a win at number three singles over Bay City All Saints. At number four singles, Jelina Murad beat Caro in two sets, and Mary Kolleth beat Essexville Garber. In doubles play, the number one team of Marcella Fabiano and Christina Buko beat Elkton-Pigeon- Bay Port. Jenna Kiss and Emma Adelman recorded a win at number three doubles over Caro. Nouvel had five returning players this year and 10 new players. It was an excellent finish to the season and it will be an even better one next year.
