The Panthers remain undefeated after wins against Byron and Garber. On Friday, September 29, NCC pulled out a commanding victory against Byron, with a score of 22-8. Senior quarterback Tate Hausbeck found Peter Snyder ’18 open for the first score of the game. The Defense proving once again that yards would not be easy to get as Alex Wrobel ’18 clogged up the running game at middle linebacker. In addition, the defensive line put pressure on the Eagles quarterback all night and racked up a few sacks with some tackles for a loss as well.

Last Friday, the boys faced the Garber Dukes from Bay City. The Panthers prevailed with a score of 29-18 with Hausbeck connecting with Junior Michael Ehlman on a pass play, and then taking it in himself on a quarterback sneak to help rack up the points. Said Wrobel, “It was a great game because of the history between the two teams and the rivalry.”

The next game will be this Friday at New Buffalo who, with their  record of 4-3, are trying to secure a play-off spot.
